Guild members regularly donate items for the shelter, everything from food to personal items.
At monthly business meetings, a basket is passed for monetary donations. This money is used to purchase gifts for a family(s) adopted at Christmas.
In May of 2015, the guild made and decorated rectangular "Flags of Hope" which were used to raise awareness of domestic violence. These flags were hung downtown and supporters purchased one and wrote a message on it. It ran through the end of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The flags were then turned back to the guild and were subsequently turned into charity quilts.
