Nursing homes in New Bern and the Craven & Pamlico County area are the lucky recipients of quilts made by members of the guild.  
 
The most important quilts are "Lap Quilts" that are approximately 40" x 40".  Most patients leave them on their bed or wrap the quilts around their shoulders.

Other items made are walker bags, "Fidget Quilts," and adult clothing protectors.  Fidget quilts are about 20"x 20"and made with fabrics, beads on strings, zippers, pockets and other things to keep restless hands busy.  These quilts are generally used in the Alzheimer wards.
